COCONUT OIL FILTERING
Oil extracted through expeller will has about 8% sediments/foots. They are separated from oil through a 3 stage filtering process i.e. Coarse filtering by Vibrating Screen, Main filtering through Filter Press and Fine filtering through Filter Press.
The extracted pure coconut oil is filtered twice in different filters to get the finest quality. Refined coconut oils are made using coprs that has been dried using a wood fire, however this is a cheaper method that requires the oil to be bleached. The bleaching is done by filtering the oil through clays to remove any impurities or colour.
